The term Garden Seeker was used by Patricia J. Osmond in her anthology of essays Revisiting the Gamberaia (2004) to describe enthusiastic tourists in search of the great villas and gardens of Italy at the turn of the twentieth Century.

A life spent seeking and drawing important examples of Baroque and Renaissance houses and gardens across Europe has allowed me to amass a wealth of recollections and imagery which now leeches into my everyday life.

Elizabethan prodigy house, Doddington Hall has been important to me since childhood when I first visited and sketched within its magnificent gardens and interiors

The necessity to remember those captivating places drives me to construct & navigate a new Domaine, a continuous labyrinth of paintings, prints and drawings, each embodying elements of specific places and each one connected.
